Had a group dinner at The Melt for the first time and it was a phenomenal time. The service was incredibly attentive and friendly, could not have anything greater to say about these employees. The night was pretty chilly but once we got inside, the ambience was so warm and pleasant. Despite it being fairly busy in there, the tables were well organized and very clean. Definitely big enough to fit our party of 5 without being cramped. The food was wonderful as well. Didn't take too long for our food to come out yet it was piping hot and delicious. Ordered the mushroom burger, garlic fries, and bbq bacon burger. The pickles are great!!! Only comment is that they put a lot of garlic in their french fries so just a heads up if raw garlic isn't your thing. Great experience overall, thanks for a great dinner ~
Great place to grab a melty yummy sandwich! I choose the steak grilled cheese, with pepper jack, red peppers, grilled onions, and jalapenos, and I also added mushrooms to it. The sandwich was like a Philly cheese steak. I'm glad I added the mushrooms to it. Perfectly grilled and melty. Ordered online and was ready for pickup. I would definitely come back!
Alright, first of all, let's talk about availability. They're open until 3am. When hunger pangs come at midnight, you know where the hell u can get a shake at!@#$%^&* lets goooo STRATEGIC PACKAGING- they separate the COLD drinks from the HOT goods. Ugh, I usually order this burrito from this certain Filipino spot and I can't resist a Mexican coke. They send it over touching each other. YUCK. I respect the decisions made to keep my cold bevs cold and my food temp optimal. WINNNNNING THE FOOD- is good. bacon mac sandwich = fire. melt burger = fire. the fries, DUHHHH FIRE. 5/5 stars i love melt!

Place was shockingly not bad for a grilled cheese chain. We had a large order and placed it for 5pm, but got a text at 430 saying it was ready which is didnt love assuming it Sat there for a bit before I was able to pick it up. Aside from that, the patty melt was amazing, and the Mac daddy which is just a carb and cheese dish inside another carb and cheese dish, was surprisingly amazing. It wasn't too dry, but the bread was still crispy. The addition of the bacon was great as it gives it another flavor as well. All in all really happy with the food, a little disappointed in the pre-ordering. But willing to give it another shot
Came tonight to finally get to try them out! Clayton took my order and he was very professional and had a great personality. Valencia was also there and she was super helpful and also had a great personality. I witnessed her deal with a rude customer very calmly and handled it perfectly. I ordered a basic melt cheeseburger, grilled cheese, tomato soup, garlic fries, and bacon chicken pasta... The food was all very good especially for a fast food type chain restaurant. If I were to describe this place it's like in and out meets Mel's diner . They have many options and even stuff for non meat eaters like my daughter. The tomato soup was very good and creamy. The grilled cheese was everything it should be. Buttery, crispy and cheesy. The burger surprisingly had jalapeños but they weren't too spicy. The garlic fries maybe had too much oil but they were tasty. I definitely would recommend this place. Good for families, after the club or sports game, good for lunch or dinner!!!
I was hesitant to try this place at first because I thought it would be like a regular burger joint but it was actually really good. This is my new go to spot for burgers. Service is wonderful and the restaurant is nice and spacious. I would highly recommend this place to anybody in the area looking for good burgers/sandwiches and fries!
After a day of touring San Francisco, all we wanted to do was grab something quick near our hotel in Oakland. This place advertises their specialties as burgers and mac and cheese. Sounded great to us. Getting here was easy. We found street parking nearby. At certain times of the day this will cost you. Customer service was excellent from start to finish. The star of the show was Dennis getting people's orders out and interacting with all the customers. This guy needs a raise! So they have everything from burgers, chicken sandwiches, melts, mac and cheese, soups, salads and dessert. I was torn between items and ended up getting the Spicy Mission. I made the mistake of getting a double since I thought they were smash style burgers. This thing was massive. I had to knife and fork it. The meat was cooked to my liking and seasoned to perfection. The addition of fresh jalapenos is what really gave them high ratings. I hate pickled jalapenos. This burger packed heat as well as flavor. Delicious! The fries were fries but good. We finished off the meal with a delicious shake that was a great way to end the meal and go to bed. I'm not from the area, but wouldn't think twice about coming back if I'm in the area.
